Florida workers’ compensation rates will decrease an average of -6.9% next year. This is the tenth consecutive rate decrease for workers’ comp rates in Florida.

The lower rates will be applied to policies as they are issued or renewed starting January 1, 2026. FUBA is providing our valued agency partners with a copy of the new rates here.

The minimum payroll amounts for included owners/officers in 2026 will be: 

  • Construction industry: $33,800 per included officer (same as 2025). 
  • All other industries: $67,600 per included officer (up from $65,000 in 2025). 
  • Sole proprietors/partners: $67,300 (up from $65,500 in 2025).
