FUBA: Florida United Business Association

FUBA Membership

FUBA Workers’ Comp is sponsored by the Florida United Businesses Association (FUBA).  FUBA is a not-for-profit trade association representing the interests of small businesses throughout the state of Florida.

Membership in FUBA is required in order to be insured with FUBA Workers’ Comp. The annual dues are $85.00 and must be submitted with a completed FUBA application after the insured has been accepted into the Fund. Failure to maintain an active membership in FUBA will result in cancellation of the workers’ compensation insurance policy.

Why do insureds have to join FUBA?

The Florida workers' compensation law and its accompanying regulations require that all businesses in a self-insurance fund have a common interest.  One way to establish a common interest is to have all insureds become members of a Fund's sponsoring trade association.  Our members comply with the law requiring commonality by joining FUBA.

For more information regarding the many benefits and services of FUBA visit www.fuba.org.  To download an application, please visit our Forms Library.
